Acceptance testing of a new or updated software application is frequently done between other activities. Often user acceptance testing doesn’t get the highest priority. However, it’s an important activity because you cannot expect the software supplier to be fully responsible for testing the correct usage of a software application in a user environment. We have developed the course ‘User Acceptance Testing’ to cope with this situation. The course covers specific aspects of structured acceptance testing in detail. A general introduction is given on testing a software application from a user’s perspective. The objective of the course is to provide participant insight into the importance of testing, the position of testing in the development life cycle of customized or standard software and to learn the basics of structured acceptance testing.
This one-day course is specifically intended for end-users who are responsible for testing. The course is also recommended for test engineers and test leads supporting the end-users in executing the user acceptance tests.
