As agile methodologies have become common practice in the Netherlands and beyond, there is an increasing need to focus on quality—broadly defined—within an agile team. To address this, Polteq has developed a three-day, highly practical training program.
In an agile team, quality is the responsibility of the entire team, not just the testers. This encompasses more than just delivering high-quality increments of the software product. The quality of the team’s way of working, team composition, and dynamics are equally important. Aspects such as built-in quality, the first-time-right principle, alignment with the company’s quality strategy, and effective collaboration and communication within the team and with stakeholders also require attention. Additionally, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and focusing on soft skills, including communication and collaboration, are essential for successful agile teams.
This training focuses on doing and experiencing. It is not a theoretical course on how agile should work; rather, it engages participants through discussions, a variety of practical cases, and group exercises. Throughout three iterations, participants will apply the skills they’ve learned using Lego Mindstorms. For this advanced training, a few years of experience in agile teams is required. Due to the flexible structure of the course, the depth of discussions can be adjusted, providing even highly experienced agile team members with opportunities to deepen and refresh their knowledge and expertise.
The training is available in both Dutch and English.
