Test Process Improvement (TPI) actions are often initiated and executed at a high level in an organization, i.e. outside the influence of testers and test teams. A common complaint is that it takes a long time to implement improvements. One of the problems of popular test improvement models like TPI® Next and TMMi® is that they require formal assessments, resulting in improvement suggestions with a long lead time and significant effort. For a lot of smaller organizations TPI® Next or TMMi® are not suitable and require too much effort.
This course describes a Polteq approach (Test Improvement with TI4LowBudget) that leads to real short-term improvements which have immediate impact. The measures improve the test process step by step in everyday practice. The success of the method is that improvements have been suggested by the people involved. Improving in this way becomes second nature and a standard activity in people’s daily work.
The course consists of two parts:
This course is intended for all testers, end-users involved in testing, test leads, test managers and project managers. In fact, everyone involved in testing in some way. Some experience in testing is recommended for the participants, but is not mandatory.
