The five day course – iSQI Certificied Agile Tester (CAT) – provides an understanding of the principles of the Agile methodology and provides testers with a solid basis to get started in Agile environments. The theory will be discussed in four days, followed by an official exam on the fifth day.
The theory is supported by practical assignments to ensure that the theory is understood and can be applied. At the end of the training, the participants have knowledge of the principles behind the Agile approach to software development and they can indicate differences between the role of testers in Agile projects and the role of testers in other projects. Another goal is to be able to help an Agile team to focus on testing and also to learn how to accept challenges outside the test area. Obviously the course will also focus on the social skills of the tester.
The training course and the trainer are accredited by iSQI (International Software Quality Institute) to offer an international standard.
