In today’s market, basic knowledge of a programming language is a must for a tester. For instance, testers are involved in setting up automated (regression) testing. Knowledge of the structure of a programming language also helps while communicating with developers. With this knowledge testers can support developers in setting up automated unit tests.
One of the programming languages that we see a lot these days is Typescript. To get testers started in this programming language, Polteq has developed a two-day training course.
During this two-day training you will learn the basics of programming in Typescript through explanation and numerous exercises. You will also learn to set up and run a test framework using Mocha and Chai assertion Library and prepare and execute automated tests in the framework. Furthermore, you will gain knowledge of some basic Object Oriented Programming (OOP) principles that are applied in test automation.
At the end of the training, participants will receive the training material digitally, so they can immediately apply what they have learned in their own work.
The target audience for this training consists of test professionals who have no knowledge of Typescript and/or object oriented programming (OOP).
