Polteq Late Night: join us!

On Thursday March 15th 2018, Polteq Belgium will organize an interesting Polteq Late Night knowledge session.

For this session we have invited three interesting speakers: Dean Bodart and Sammy De Moor from ARQS and Ruud Teunissen from Polteq.

Dean Bodart and Sammy De Moor will tell you all about quality, QA, BDD and Test Automation in Agile environments.
Ruud Teunissen will show you how to achieve continuous test improvement in any situation.

Presentations:

“QA in Scaled Agile Environments” – Dean Bodart and Sammy De Moor – ARQS
Learn about quality, QA, BDD and Test Automation in Agile environments

Today, we are obliged to develop and release software increasingly faster. As a company, it’s a MUST! You can’t stay behind on your competitors, but you also can’t release buggy or invaluable software into production either… right? How do you handle the speed of today’s market? How do you continuously create and release WELL-CRAFTED and VALUABLE software to production? What does well-crafted actually mean and what is valuable? What does “future-proof” stand for in the software business? Dean & Sammy will answer these questions by using concrete and fun examples, explaining more about the critical role of quality within an agile-like environment. Providing insights into the relationship between QA, IT and Business, attendees will also learn why “The Spotify Model” isn’t an Agile Scaling model and what exactly the added value of Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) and test automation SHOULD be.

“Context Driven (Test) Improvement” – Ruud Teunissen – Polteq
Achieve continuous test improvement in any situation!

Classical test process improvement models no longer fit. Virtualization, web, *(anything) as a service, cloud, mobile, and integration with social media, have drastically changed the way we develop, test and manage. Applying a combination of Agile, SCRUM, continuous integration, context-driven testing and DevOps has become the standard. That’s why we need Context Driven Test Improvement: a flexible and pragmatic approach that helps you achieve continuous test improvement in line with your context and your goals. I will share experiences in test improvement in a wide variety of environments and will present a road map that enables you to translate the triggers and objectives for test improvement into actions that can be implemented immediately. This enables you to achieve continuous test improvement in any situation!

We start at 6pm with food & drinks and end around 9.15pm with drinks and networking.
