STARWEST is an annual test event at the West Coast of the USA.  In 2011 it took take place from 2 - 7 October in Anaheim, USA, in the Disneyland Hotel.

During STARWEST, experts in testing (Michael Bolton, Jennifer Bonine, Hans Buwalda, Lee Copeland, Dale Emery, Bob Galen, Julie Gardiner, Dorothy Graham, Jeff Payne, and Martin Pol) were present with a lightning talk.
