About Polteq

“Polteq, quality in testing services”. This describes the services and courses of Polteq best. Polteq has been established in 2000 by Martin Pol, the founder of structured testing in The Netherlands. Polteq is providing a complete set of testing services internationally. The Polteq professionals can fulfil the role of test engineer or test manager within your organisation. Furthermore Polteq is specialised supporting organisations to improve their testing processes, test automation, managing test outsourcing and providing training sessions (including certification).

All Polteq test professionals have extensive, international experience in testing in various branches. This experience is shared through our own training institute, that delivers a wide range of testing trainings to Polteq test professionals as well as to our customers. Our test professionals have a profound knowledge on a number of test methods and techniques (a.o. TMap^® and Testframe) and all hold the ISEB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing. A number of Test Managers also hold the ISEB Practitioner Certificate in Software Testing.

Polteq is contributing to training programs and seminars worldwide. In-house training sessions are provided at request. Further Polteq is accredited to provide the training leading to the  ISTQB Foundation and ISTQB Advanced  Level Test Manager and Advanced Level Test Analyst Certificates.



Martin Pol and Ruud Teunissen, two of Polteq’s top consultants, have contributed to the development of structured testing in the Netherlands. Today, Polteq is still actively involved in innovations in testing, both in the Netherlands and abroad.

Martin Pol is co-author of several books on structured testing and test process improvement published in Dutch, German, English, Japanese and Chinese. He is a regarded presenter at international conferences and training sessions.

Ruud Teunissen has performed several test functions in a large number of ICT projects: tester, test specialist, test consultant, test manager. Ruud is regularly invited to speak at national and international conferences and he frequently delivers workshops and trainings regarding all aspect of structured testing – test design techniques, test management, test process improvement. Ruud is a co-author of the TMap^® book .

Through Polteq Martin Pol and Ruud Teunissen are available in person as a consultant to share their extensive experience and expertise.
