Accreditation ISTQB Advanced

Polteq is the first company in The Netherlands that has been accredited by ISTQB  to provide both the courses leading to the new ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager certificate and the ISTQB Advanced Level Test Analyst certificate.

The ISTQB was officially founded as an International Software Testing Qualifications Board in Edinburgh in November 2002. The ISTQB is responsible for the international qualification scheme called "ISTQB Certified Tester". It is the ISTQB's role to support a single, universally accepted, international qualification scheme, aimed at software and system testing professionals. The aim is to support internationalization and harmonization of existing certification schemes (e.g. ISEB, ASQF).

ISTQB currently has more than 35 members of different countries. Also the Netherlands are represented in the Belgium and Netherlands Testing Qualifications Board, which is member of ISTQB. Please refer tot www.istqb.org or www.bntqb.nl for further information.

In April 2005 the ISTQB Foundation syllabus was made available and in 2006 the first ISTQB Foundation exams were held. The former ISEB Foundation exam is no longer available. The new ISTQB Advanced syllabus, which replaces the ISEB Practitioner syllabus, was made available in 2007. Both the ISEB Foundation Certificate and the ISEB Practitioner Certificate 'old style' will remain valid (till July 2008) and are recognized by ISTQB.
